HUTCHINSON, Kan. —An 18-year-old from Buhler was injured in a Reno County accident Saturday afternoon. The Reno County Sheriff's Office reports that deputies were sent to 4th and Worthington for a two car motor vehicle accident around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
Eighteen-year-old Ellianna Buckaloo of Hutchinson was traveling southbound on Worthington when the vehicle she was driving was struck by a truck driven by 32-year-old Marcus Yeakel of Hutchinson. Yeakel was cited for failure to yield.
Buckaloo's passenger, 18-year-old Samuel Foster of Buhler was taken by EMS from the scene. Yeakel's two passengers 35-year-old Ashley Yeakel of Hutchinson and 30-year-old Lorena Walden of Hutchinson reported only minor injuries and were treated at the scene. Everyone was wearing seatbelts.
