Bruce Wesley Tackett, 73, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022. He was born on November 11, 1948 in Long Island, New York to Royce Olivia and Ruth Virginia (Hastings) Tackett. Bruce married Gail Dorlene (Swisher) Tackett on December 31, 1980. They were married for 41 years. Bruce graduated from Roosevelt High School in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1966. He served as Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam. He worked as a computer automated draftsmen for architectural firms most of his life and later was self employed making fitness equipment. He served as President of Putnam County Chapter of Vietnam Veterans of America. He was a street artist that did pen and ink drawings of Victorian houses in San Francisco, California and enjoyed reading. He is survived by his wife, Gail; daughter, Robyn (Michael) Moore of Pratt; son, David Tackett of Lawrence; stepdaughter, Christina (Ty) Clinesmith of Amarillo, Texas; stepson, Jason (Anita) Rojas of Pratt; brothers, Howard Tackett of San Diego, California and Lowell Tackett of Bel Air, Maryland; and seven step-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date with inurnment at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.&nbsp;&nbsp;
