Glea P. Senical, 95 of Lake St. Louis, MO, passed away on October 15, 2020 peacefully at her home of natural causes. She was born May 19, 1925, to Earl V. and Neva B. Matthews in Tescott, Kansas. Glea graduated from Tescott High School in 1943. She married Howard R. Senical in 1944.
Glea is survived by: her only son, Robert L. Senical, of Lake St. Louis, MO and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl V. Mathews, mother, Neva B. Matthews, husband, Howard R. Senical, and five siblings, Wanda Matthews, Lyle Matthews, Ara Toon, Genevieve Brown, and Richard Matthews.
Glea worked at the Farmers Alliance Insurance Company in McPherson, Kansas for 20 years. After moving to Lake St. Louis in 1991, she worked for the Ribbon Outlet, Burlington Coat Factory, and Fashion Bug, respectively, until the age of 83.
Glea was a member of the Lake St. Louis Garden Club (Jardin du Lac) and was an avid fan of choral music and the Concert Arts Association of St. Charles County (Choral Arts). She was a Cardinals baseball fan and loved watching college basketball, particularly the University of Kansas.
A graveside service and inurnment will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 4, 2021, at Crestwood Memorial Park in McPherson.
