🏈 Kpreps releases latest Kansas high school football rankings after Week 4

Several area teams were featured prominently in the latest Kpreps.com Kansas high school football rankings, led by Sterling and Inman occupying the top two spots in Class 1A.

Sterling remained No. 1 after improving to 4-0 with a 91-0 victory over Sedgwick. The Black Bears have won 17 consecutive games and have allowed just 33 points this season.

Inman moved up to No. 2 following a 44-6 win over Hutchinson Trinity. Malachi Brunk rushed for three touchdowns, while Korbyn McClellan added two rushing scores for the Teutons.

Hesston remained No. 3 in Class 3A after a 42-14 road victory over Concordia. Quarterback Jerick Humphreys passed for 266 yards and four touchdowns and added 40 rushing yards and another score as the Swathers improved to 4-0.

Haven made its first appearance in the Class 2A rankings, checking in at No. 5 after a 50-8 win over previously unbeaten Douglass. Quarterback Brogan Wray threw for 238 yards and two touchdowns and added a rushing score, while Cole Brawner rushed for 181 yards and three touchdowns.

Little River also remained unbeaten and held its No. 3 ranking in Eight-Man Division II after a 48-0 win over Victoria. Senior Jaren Garrison rushed for 108 yards and four touchdowns and also threw a touchdown pass.
