HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Texas man was injured in an accident in Reno County Tuesday afternoon.
The Reno County Sheriff's Office says 24-year-old Edward Thompson was traveling east on Parallel Road just before 12:15 p.m. Tuesday when he slightly veered off the roadway and overcorrected and collided into a parked and unoccupied Reno County Public Works flagging truck.
Thompson's airbags deployed. He was buckled up. He was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.
