RENO COUNTY — A Hutchinson teenager was injured in an accident at US 50 and Buhler Road Wednesday morning.
According to the Reno County Sheriff's Office, 15-year-old America Holliday was driving a vehicle east on Highway 50 just after 9:30 a.m. when she tried to make a left on to Buhler Road and her vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Amos McCarthy from North Newton.
The airbags deployed in both vehicles. Holliday was taken to Hutchinson Regional to check out pain in her leg. Both drivers were buckled up.
