HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A live nativity is going on Thursday night at the Eagle Media Center at 9th and Main in Hutchinson with the help of Crossroads Christian Church.

"We have five sponsors this year, Bell Credit Union, Heartland Credit Union, Hutchinson Postal and Community Credit Union, Chem-Dry of Reno County and Preffered Roofing and Guttering," said Eagle Hutchinson Market Manager Nancy Swain.

There will be live animals, including three camels, a calf, a donkey and several sheep.

"The event is from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.," Swain said. "We do the live scripture reading every 30 minutes, that will be at 6:00, 6:30, 7:00 and 7:30."

Spangles will be providing hot chocolate, and RCAT will provide transportation for seniors who want to see the live nativity and then go tour the city to see Christmas lights.
