Richard Hilt, 90, of Hutchinson, died June 15, 2022, at Reflection Living. He was born December 17, 1931, in Pratt, to John and Thelma (Taylor) Hilt.
Richard graduated from Coldwater High School and then served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a truck driver for most of his life. Richard enjoyed going dancing at the Moose Lodge and collecting model trains. He was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ.
Richard is survived by: daughter, Sheila Alexander, Topeka; sons, Terry Hilt, Wichita, David Hilt (Denise), Fort Worth, Texas, Calvin Hilt (Lisa), Augusta; daughter, Tamara Hilt, Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Eric and Jason Alexander, Chelsea Cole (Russell), William Hilt, Alexandra (Eric), Sabrina Hilt, Kalie Graves, Raef Hilt, Nathaniel Muci, Ben, Tim, and Becky Hill; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda, Texas, and Betty Hilt, Chicago.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Billy, Ivan, and Dan Hilt; and son-in-law, LaRoy Alexander.
Memorial service will be 10 am Monday, June 20, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary. Friends may sign the book from 9 am to 5 pm Saturday and 1 to 8 pm Sunday at Elliott Mortuary.
