The Big 12 Conference announced kickoff times Monday for Kansas and Kansas State football games scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10.
Kansas will travel to Utah for a 9:15 p.m. Central kickoff on ESPN at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
The matchup will be the sixth all-time meeting between the Jayhawks and Utes and the third played in Salt Lake City. Kansas has not played at Utah since 1996.
Utah leads the all-time series 3-2 after defeating Kansas 31-21 in Lawrence last season.
The game will mark Kansasā first Big 12 road contest of the season and its third night game. The Jayhawks previously played night games against Long Island and Missouri.
Kansas will host Middle Tennessee at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, before making the trip to Utah.
Kansas State, meanwhile, will host Houston at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan. The game will be televised nationally on FOX.
It will be the third meeting between Kansas State and Houston, with the home team winning each of the first two.
Kansas State defeated Houston 41-0 in Manhattan in 2023 before the Cougars earned a 24-19 victory in Houston two seasons ago.
The Houston matchup will serve as Kansas Stateās Big 12 home opener.
Other Big 12 games announced for the Oct. 10 weekend include Iowa State at BYU at 9:15 p.m. Friday on ESPN, UCF at Oklahoma State at 11 a.m. on ESPN or ESPN2, Arizona at West Virginia at 11 a.m. on TNT and HBO Max, and Hawaiāi at Arizona State at 9:30 p.m. on FS1.
