HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Regional Medical Center has revised its COVID-19 policy for family accompanying patients under treatment in the hospital’s Emergency Department (ED).
All patients being admitted to the ED may be accompanied by a family member or one other designated individual. Please do not bring more than one person with you to the ED, as they will not be allowed inside.
Visitors will be scanned for COVID-19 upon entering the reception area of the ED.
More than 25,000 patients are treated in the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center ED each year.
