NICKERSON, Kan. — Nickerson USD 309 will graduate the class of 2020 on Saturday.
There are some reminders for students and guests. The gym will be marked for families to sit in groups of five and families will be seated in the marked areas. Graduation practice will be in the new gym at 9:00 a.m. this morning. Masks will be handed out to graduates when they arrive for graduation practice. They will need to be worn for practice and the ceremony.
Graduation will be Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. Seniors must arrive by 10:30 a.m. and meet in the high school cafeteria. There is a dress code for graduates, as well.
Men: Dress slacks, dress shirt, dress shoes and mask
Women: Dresses or dress slacks and dress shoes and mask.
Students failing to comply with the dress code will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony.
The district will also live stream the event for those individuals who are unable to attend.
