Lois Faye (Goering) Cline, 79, of South Hutchinson, died July 13, 2021, at her home. She was born November 12, 1941, in Hutchinson, to Edward and Lorena (Schwartz) Goering.
Lois graduated from Pretty Prairie High School in 1959, and then attended HCC to study music. She was a homemaker and also worked as a family support specialist for SRS. Lois loved to garden and especially loved flowers. She did all different types of crafts. Lois also loved music, and though she would deny it, she was a good piano player. She attended South Hutchinson Christian Church.
On May 27, 1961, she married Jerry David Cline in Pretty Prairie. They shared 60 years together.
Lois is survived by: husband, Jerry Cline, South Hutchinson; daughter, Cheri Dixon (Tom), Hutchinson; son, Rick Cline, Wichita; grandchildren, Tyler Dixon (Melanie), Matthew Dixon (Leighann), and Jessica Toevs (David); six great-grandchildren; sister, Arlene “Bernice” Doerksen, Buhler; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Wilbur and Willis Goering; and sister, Avis Morrison.
A private graveside will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021, and from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, with the family present from 2 to 4 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
