15HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Community members are invited to test their knowledge and teamwork skills during a special after-hours Trivia Night this Friday at the library.
The event is scheduled for Friday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. and is open to participants of all ages. Organizers encourage residents to gather a team and register in advance, as space is limited.
The trivia competition will feature a wide range of categories, including local history, literature, pop culture and more. Organizers say no topic is off limits, and participants can also expect questions tied to the library’s ongoing community reading challenge. Some of those questions will highlight the library’s 125th anniversary, giving attendees a chance to brush up on local library history.
The evening is designed to be both competitive and fun, with prizes and bragging rights on the line for the winning team. Library staff note the event will offer a unique atmosphere, as participants will have the rare opportunity to be loud and lively in the typically quiet setting.
Those who don’t have a team are still encouraged to attend. Organizers say they will help match individuals with a group to ensure everyone can participate.
Registration is required to attend. Library officials say the event is a chance for community members to connect, have fun and experience the library in a new way.
