MCPHERSON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 6:30a.m. Thursday in McPherson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 F250 pickup driven by Marcus Scott Ehrhardt, 31, Herington, was westbound at milemarker 236 of U.S. 56 highway in Galva.
The pickup struck a 2007 Kenworth semi driven by Steven Dale Albrecht, 60, Salina, that was pulling out of a driveway to go eastbound on U.S. 56.
The pickup then struck two parked vehicles and a pedestrian identified as Troy Daryl Regier, 62, Canton, in the parking lot of the welding shop.
EMS transported Regier to Wesley Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
Ehrhardt and Albrecht were not injured and properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
