HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The visitation policy for the Reno County Correctional Facility isn't fully back to normal yet, but they are continuing their efforts to let those who want to visit do so.
Jail supervisor Shawn McClay told Hutch Post that during the height of the pandemic, visitation was cut back to once per week, with masks required and shorter hours to allow for more cleaning.
The shorter hours are still in place, as are the masks, but the county is back to allowing two visits per week.
Two people can visit at one time. Visitors must have a state issued photo ID. Those under 18 may only visit if coming with a parent or legal guardian. Visits are possible between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Visits are limited to 30 minutes at a time. Visitors are still required to wear a mask. Visiting kiosks are disinfected daily.
