HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Fox Theatre is preparing for a busy November, featuring comedy, live music and a special appearance from one of Hollywood's most recognizable Christmas movie stars.
Executive Director Josh Davies said the month begins Saturday, Nov. 7, with comedian Josh Blue performing at 7:30 p.m. as part of "Laughter Without Limits," a fundraiser benefiting Beyond Barriers.
Blue, who won NBC's "Last Comic Standing" in 2006 and finished third on "America's Got Talent" in 2021, is returning to Hutchinson for his second appearance at the Fox.
"I had the opportunity to host him last time he was here, and kind of drive him around town, and just a great person," Davies said. "And he puts on a wonderful show, absolutely hilarious."
The Fox Theatre's 2026-27 live season continues Nov. 13 with "The Carpenters Songbook: A Live Celebration," featuring the music of Karen and Richard Carpenter.
Davies said the production offers more than a traditional tribute concert.
"It's their greatest hits, but it also includes the story of how they grew up and became one of the most successful music acts, basically of a generation," Davies said.
"The Magic of Motown" follows Nov. 21, featuring music from artists including The Temptations, The Jackson 5, Diana Ross and Stevie Wonder.
The month concludes Nov. 28 with a screening of "A Christmas Story," followed by an onstage question-and-answer session with Peter Billingsley, who portrayed Ralphie in the 1983 holiday classic.
VIP photo opportunities with Billingsley will also be available.
All four performances begin at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are available at HutchinsonFox.com or by calling the box office at 620-663-1981.
