Driver hospitalized after semi rolls, strikes power pole

RENO COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 4 p.m. Wednesday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Peterbilt semi driven by 30-year-old Jesse Daniel Lamb of Inola, OK., was eastbound on U.S. 50 at the Kansas 61 Junction, when the semi veered to the right, struck a guard rail and bridge rail. The semi traveled into the south ditch where it rolled, struck a power pole and a fence before coming to rest.

EMS transported Lamb to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
