
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson woman was arrested Wednesday evening on assault charges.
According to a release from Hutchinson police, just before 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, officers were sent to 406 East Bigger, where they found 46-year-old Angela L. Jones barricaded herself in the house after it was reported she was chasing a man outside.
The Emergency Response Team negotiated and then, after four hours with no success, used irritant gas to get Jones out.
Jones was arrested for (1) Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon, (2) Felony Interference, (3) Domestic Battery (4) Possession of stimulant, and (5) Possession of drug paraphernalia.
Once checked by Reno County EMS and medically cleared, she was transported to the Reno County Correctional Facility.
