The Reno County Treasurer's Office is reminding property owners to check whether they have unpaid 2025 real estate taxes before the end of the month to avoid additional costs and public notice.
The Treasurer's Office has posted an "Unpaid 2025 Real Estate Taxes Prior to Publication" list, allowing residents to determine if taxes remain due on their properties.
Taxpayers have until 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 31, to pay any outstanding 2025 real estate taxes and avoid having their names included in the county's August newspaper publication of delinquent taxes.
Officials say payments received after the July 31 deadline will be subject to publication fees in addition to accrued interest.
Property owners can make payments in person at the Reno County Treasurer's Office, located in the Annex Building at 125 W. 1st Ave. in Hutchinson. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
