HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Fire Department is continuing its wildfire mitigation work Friday.
According to a Facebook post from the department, the plan is to burn along 30th Avenue between Kent and Obee Road east of the city between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. if the weather allows.
Burning will be completed by 3 p.m. to allow for afternoon school traffic to happen normally. Expect potential delays if driving through the area during active burning.
