CITY OF HUTCHINSON
The City of Hutchinson is now accepting applications from qualified residents interested in serving on the Hutchinson City Council as the Southwest District representative.
Interested residents are encouraged to complete the online application, which includes questions about their qualifications, interest in public service, and perspectives on the priorities and needs of the Southwest District and the City of Hutchinson.
Following the application deadline, City Council will review applications, conduct candidate interviews, and select an individual to fill the vacancy.
The appointed councilmember will serve until the next City Council election in November 2027. The individual elected at that time will serve the remainder of the Southwest District term, which runs through December 2029.
The City encourages eligible residents who are interested in representing their district and contributing to the future of Hutchinson to apply.
