Twila Naydene Lindfors, 93, of Marquette, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 3, 2022, at Riverview Estates, Marquette. She owned & operated Twila’s Beauty Shop and was a licensed cosmetologist for 65 years.
Twila was born north of Almena, in Norton County on May 15, 1928, daughter of Earl Wayne and Zelma Sophia (Colip) Leuszler. She graduated from Almena High School in 1946 and from Stewart Beauty School, Salina in 1948.
She was a member of Elim Lutheran Church, Marquette and sang in the church choir for 45 years. She was also a 63 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include: three children, Allan Lindfors (JoAn) of Marquette, Pam Morel (Danny) of Marquette, and Tim Lindfors (Reta) of Salina; two brothers, Wayne Leuszler of Oklahoma City, OK and Harlan Leuszler (Marilyn) of Trinidad, CO; a special niece, Donna Lee Leuszler of Almena; ten grandchildren, Eva Allen, Noah Lindsfors (Maggie), Jake Hamilton (Ashley), Ryan Hamilton (Stephanie), Allison Pike (Chase), Nic Morel (Angelica), Neal Morel (Marcie), Aaron Lindfors, Jordan Lindfors (Jessica), and Abby Livingston (J.J.); 17 great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Don Leuszler; sister, Wilva Magdeburg; brother-in-law, Bill Magdeburg; sisters-in-law, Joann Leuszler and Jean Leuszler; and two grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 10, 2022, at Elim Lutheran Church, Marquette, with Pastor Amy Kay Pavlovich officiating. A private burial will precede the service at Marquette Lutheran Cemetery.
