Leyla M. Field, 97, died May 20, 2021 at the Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie.

She was born Aug. 12, 1923, at Varner, Kansas the daughter of Irvin and Bertha Mae Young Albright. A resident of Pretty Prairie most of her life, she was an organist and pianist.

Lelya was a member of the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church, O.E.S., the Rebekas Lodge and the D.A.R.

In 1941, she married Curtis Field; he died in 1967. In 1973 she married Tom Herrman; he died in 1978. In 1980 she married Jack Austin; he died in 2000; she married Bob Field who died in 2021.

Survivors include two sons Curtis Eldon Field and his wife Georgia and Justin Randolph Field and wife Joyce; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son Tracy Vincent; and her brother Don Albright.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday. May 27, 2021 at the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the Lone Star Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the Prairie Sunset Home or the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church, both in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
