FORD COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating a December shooting have made an arrest.
Just after 7:30p.m. December 27, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East Spruce Street in Dodge City after report of a shooting, according to a media release.
Upon their arrival, they found a 19-year-old Dodge City man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The shooter later identified as 19-year-old Samuel Paz-Acosta fled the scene before police arrived.
After a 4-month investigation, police issued an arrest warrant for attempted 1st Degree Murder for Paz-Acosta and took him into custody. He is being held in the Ford County Jail.
