Man from Pratt hospitalized after semi strikes guardrail

FRANKLIN COUNTY—A Pratt man was injured in an accident just before 3 p.m. Wednesday in Franklin County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Peterbilt semi driven by 44-year-old Michael L. McGraw of Pratt was northbound on Interstate 35 just south of Kansas 68, when due to a distraction in the vehicle, the semi veered right and struck a guard rail and came to rest facing the north side of the road.

EMS transported McGraw to Advent Health. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
