HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County commissioners gave approval to purchase two more fire trucks for the county during Tuesday’s agenda session.
The two brush trucks for Rural Fire District 9 total $173,359. The fire district serves Haven and the surrounding area. Also Tuesday, the board approved Ron Hirst as vice chair for the board. Hirst replaces the late Bob Bush and will hold the seat until the commission reorganizes in January.
Commissioners gave approval to let the Health Department acquire new software at a cost of $50,142.
