
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Dillons will bring back its Senior Day promotion on Wednesday, offering a one-day discount for shoppers age 55 and older.
Eligible customers can receive 10% off qualifying in-store grocery and everyday essential purchases April 8 at Dillons locations by requesting the discount at checkout. No coupon is required.
“Dillons is committed to helping customers stretch their budgets while still enjoying fresh, affordable food,” Sheila Regehr, head of communications and public affairs for Dillon Stores, said in a statement. “We know every dollar matters, especially for seniors living on a budget, and Senior Day is one more way we can help customers 55 and older save on the groceries and household essentials they need most with 10% off eligible purchases for one day only.”
The discount applies to many grocery and household items, including fresh produce, pantry staples and other everyday essentials. Exclusions include alcohol, tobacco, fuel, money orders, taxes, postage stamps, gift cards, lottery purchases, promotional tickets, prescriptions and certain fees.
Dillons said customers can request the discount at checkout during the one-day event.
The company also highlighted other ongoing savings options for shoppers, including fuel discounts or cash-back grocery rewards for Plus Card members, weekly digital deals and coupons through the Dillons app, rewards promotions on qualifying purchases, and Fresh & Quality Guarantees.
Customers can earn points through special promotions, qualifying gift card purchases, eligible pharmacy purchases and Boost by Dillons Plus membership benefits. Those points can be redeemed for fuel savings or cash rewards on in-store and online purchases.
