Hillsboro - Raymond R. Matz, 95, passed away August 28, 2021 at Hillsboro Community Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born October 5, 1925 in Hillsboro to Gustav and Martha (Hiebert) Matz. He married Eunice Janzen June 22, 1946 in Hillsboro.
Survivors include: sons, Rick (Ruth) Matz of Wichita, Ray (Pat) Matz of Olathe, Reg Matz (Pam Buller) of Hillsboro; daughter, Eydie (Mike) Fellows of Newton; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife Eunice Matz in 2019.
Celebration of Life Service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro officiated by Pastor John Werner. Committal service 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church cemetery in Hillsboro.
