Marilyn Kay Phinney, 82, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Hospice House in Hutchinson, KS. Marilyn was born March 8, 1939 in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Otto C. and Maxine F. (Hoskinson) Williams.

Marilyn graduated from Buhler High School. She married Lloyd Phinney in Hutchinson, KS. Marilyn had many hobbies and interests. She loved to knit and crochet. She also enjoyed crafting bead work and loved flowers.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Jay Call of Hutchinson; siblings, Judy (Robert) Jones of Haven, Gail Cirkel of Buhler, Clarence O. “Snook” Williams of Burrton and Kenny (Connie) Williams of Hutchinson; five grandchildren, Samantha, Brandi, Hailey, Jessie and Julian, numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lloyd.

A private family graveside service will be held at Burrton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Society in care of Buhler Mortuary, PO Box 589, Buhler, KS 67522.
