HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Downtown Hutchinson Kiwanis Club has determined that the annual downtown Chili/Soup competition November 6 will be deferred until next year.
This decision was based on the health and safety of the public and participants. The Kiwanis looks forward to having this event Downtown in November 2022.
However, the Downtown Kiwanis and the Civitans will be placing flags on Saturday for the 9\11 memorial.
According to Bobby Ross with the club, this is being done as a make up to all contracted customers for the Memorial Day rainout.
