TROON, Scotland — Former Hutchinson Community College All-American golfer Dominic Clemons will make his major championship debut on Thursday in The Open Championship.

Clemons is scheduled to tee off at 8:47 a.m. BST (2:47 a.m. CST) on Thursday morning at Prestwick Golf Club in Scotland. 

The 22-year-old Clemons is in the same grouping as Stewart Cink and Chris Kirk. Cink is a veteran of the PGA Tour, turning pro in 1995. He has played in The Open Championship 24 times in his career, finishing as high as sixth in 2007. Kirk joined the PGA Tour in 2011 and has appeared in The Open Championship five times, finishing as high as 19th in 2014.

The trio of Clemons, Cink and Kirk will tee off at 1:48 p.m. BST (7:48 a.m. CST) on Friday in Round 2.

Clemons is the first-ever former HutchCC golfer to ever qualify for a PGA major championship.
