Walter Lee “Walt” Tillotson, 77, of Medicine Lodge, KS died Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Kiowa District Manor, Kiowa.
He was born on January 10, 1945 in Medicine Lodge, the son of Merle Tillotson and Hazel (Hogan) Tillotson.
On February 14, 1964 he married Pat S. (Thompson) Tillotson in Medicine Lodge. She preceded him in death on November 20, 2015.
Walt was a roustabout in the oil fields and a grader operator for Eagle Township. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Medicine Lodge.
Surviving are one son, Shawn (Jennifer) Tillotson of Medicine Lodge; one daughter, Tammy (Paul) Hargett of Medicine Lodge; Four grandchildren, Zachary Hargett, Jenelle (Joey) Gentry, Stephen Hargett, and Brandon (Aspen) Tillotson; one great-granddaughter, Arralynn Murphy; two step-great-grandchildren, Josh and Becca Gentry; one brother, Richard Tillotson of Medicine Lodge, and one sister, Merlene Taylor of Medicine Lodge.
Walt was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Pat, and his brother, Robert Tillotson.
Friends may sign the register book on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, 67104.
Funeral services will be on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, Medicine Lodge, with Pastors Rodney Worsham, Clint Tyler and Luke MacKinney officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge.
