V. Louise Milburn, 78, of Lyons, passed away February 15, 2022, at her home. She was born May 3, 1943, in Wichita, the daughter of Roy and Barbara Sanborn Wilcoxon.
Louise has resided in Lyons since 1971. She graduated from Wichita East High School, Wichita, Kansas, with the class of 1961. Louise was a housewife. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Lyons, where she also served as an Elder and Deacon.
Louise was a seamstress, enjoyed craft fairs, shopping, loved painting, and cared very much for animals. She enjoyed bible study, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On August 4, 1962, Louise was united in marriage with Charles E. Milburn in Wichita. He survives of the home. She is also survived by her daughter, Anita Roath and husband Brad of Pomona; brother, Roy Wilcoxon and wife Mary of Clearwater; brother-in-law, Claude Hephner of Wichita; three grandchildren, Brandon Roath and wife Jamie of Olathe; Brooke Roath of Springhill; and Breck Milburn of Wichita; and four great-grandchildren, Jackson Roath, Bailey Roath, Mackenzie Dale, and Eden Milburn.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Brent and Corey Milburn; and sister, Judy Hephner.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church, Lyons, with Pastor Kim Shank officiating. Burial will follow at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 P.M., Monday, February 21, 2022, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons with family present from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M.
