RENO COUNTY— An Arlington man died in an accident Sunday morning in Reno County.
According to the Reno County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called out to the 22700 block of west Arlington Road just before 10:30 a.m. The time of the accident is undetermined, it is believed the accident occurred after 2 a.m.
Deputies believe 24-year-old Wayne Scott Schoenecker of Arlington had been traveling east on Arlington Road. It appears Schoenecker went off the south side of the roadway and lost control of his 2002 KIA Sportage. The vehicle rolled and Schoenecker was ejected.
He was not wearing a seatbelt. No airbag was deployed.
