👟 Buhler girls claim top spot in latest Kansas cross country poll

Several Hutchinson-area cross country teams are ranked in the Kansas Cross Country Coaches Jim Maska Early Season Poll, led by the Buhler girls at No. 1 in Class 4A and Hesston girls at No. 2 in Class 3A.

Buhler owns the top spot in the Class 4A girls rankings, while the Buhler boys are No. 4. McPherson is also represented in 4A, with the boys ranked No. 6.

Hesston is ranked second in Class 3A girls, behind Southeast of Saline. Cheney is No. 4 and Wichita Trinity No. 5. On the boys side, Wichita Trinity is ranked No. 1, followed by Southeast of Saline at No. 2.

Hutchinson Trinity Catholic is ranked No. 3 in the Class 2A boys poll. Moundridge is No. 6 in the same classification. Sterling is tied for No. 10 in Class 2A girls.

Great Bend is No. 7 in the Class 5A girls rankings, while Salina Central is tied for No. 9.
