The National Weather Service office in Wichita has issued a Wind Advisory for Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
South winds 25 to 35 mph sustained with gusts up to 45 mph are expected over portions of central, south central and southeast Kansas.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured light weight objects. Small tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
