
Carol Ann Glasgow, 78, of Hutchinson, died March 10, 2021, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born July 12, 1942, in Longmont, Colorado, the daughter of George L. and Verna B. (Branber) Stieber.
A Hutchinson resident since 2012, Carol was a homemaker. She enjoyed crafts, fishing, puzzles, games, and was a huge Jeff Gordon and Denver Broncos fan. But above all, Carol loved spending time with her family. She was a member of First Church of God.
On Nov. 21, 1964, Carol married Rex D. Glasgow, in Princeton, MO. He died July 13, 1984.
Carol is survived by: her children, Carla Hardman (fiancé, David Houston), Paducah, KY, Charlotte Vargas (Samuel), Uvalde, TX, George ‘Joe’ Glasgow (Geri), Jefferson, IA, Franklin Glasgow (Ellen), Indianola, IA; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Belknap (Mary), Beloit; and numerous extended family members.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, George ‘Larry’ Stieber; half-brothers, Richard Frazier, Donald Williamson, John Williamson, Jack Hayward; half-sister, Doris Williamson; and stepchildren, Cheryl Glasgow, Carol Dale, William Glasgow.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2021, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Glenn Koster Sr. officiating. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Indianola, IA, at a later date. Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and 9 a.m. until service time Monday at Elliott Mortuary.
The service will be webcast will be available at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
