The Hutchinson Community College football team is once again the No. 1 team in the nation.
The latest national rankings were released on Tuesday and Hutchinson is the No. 1 team in the nation for the seventh time in program history.

Last Saturday at Gowans Stadium, then-No. 2-ranked Hutchinson defeated No. 1 Iowa Western 26-0 in the fifth all-time No. 1 vs. No. 2 meeting between the Blue Dragons and Reivers in front of a national televised audience.
Hutchinson earned all nine first-place votes.
The Blue Dragons extended their program record for longest consecutive run in the national poll to 70 weeks. The Dragons have been ranked in the top three of the NJCAA Rankings for 64 consecutive polls.
Now with this latest move to No. 1, the Blue Dragons have been ranked No. 1 in 52 of the 89 polls released in the Drew Dallas era.
The 5-0 Blue Dragons travel to play Highland at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Porter Family Stadium in Highland.
There was considerable movement in the rankings this week.
Mississippi is now at No. 2 and Iowa Western falls to No. 3. Georgia Military stays at No. 5 and future Blue Dragon opponent Northeastern Oklahoma A&M is fifth.
Dodge City and Butler both move back into the Top 15. The Conquistadors are at No. 13 and Grizzlies are No. 15.
