
DODGE CITY, Kan. — No. 1 Dodge City (11-0, 6-0) used seven first-half threes to build a 15-point halftime advantage Wednesday night against No. 18 Hutchinson (10-3, 5-2).
Dodge City built an 11-point advantage after one quarter and never looked back.
The Conquistadors put up 10 more shots and made seven more in the opening half.
Manny Piljevic scored 13 of her 15 points in the first half. She pulled down 13 rebounds to finish with a double-double.
Charlie Melksham also scored 15 for the Conquistadors.
Four Conqs scored in double figures.
Hutchinson shot just 4-of-17 (23.5%) from deep and 20-for-58 (34.5%) overall.
Kamyra Barber (17) and Noelle Anthon (15) led the way for Hutchinson.
