Faye Marie (Kreutzer) Ford, 64, of South Hutchinson, died March 25, 2021, at Mennonite Friendship Communities. She was born Sept. 22, 1956, in La Crosse, to Robert L. and Genevieve M. (Depperschmidt) Kreutzer.

Faye graduated from Garden City High School. She worked at Walmart for 17 years. Faye was a very social person who didn’t know a stranger. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, drawing, and gardening.

Faye married William Ford and they shared 21 years of marriage before divorcing.

She is survived by: daughter, Samantha Ratzlaff; grandson, Tucker Ratzlaff, both of Hutchinson; sister, Kay Kjaer (Svend) of Edmond, OK; brothers, Curtis Kreutzer (Lanna), and Jim Kreutzer, all of Leoti; several nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family members.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Elliott Chapel. Private family inurnment will take place in St. Mary’s Catholic Church cemetery, Marienthal, at a later date. Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday at Elliott Mortuary.

The service will be webcast and the link will be available in Faye’s obituary on the funeral home website beginning on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
