HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County Commissioners will seek approval of a contract for a bridge replacement project during Tuesday’s agenda session.
The small span is located one mile north and 11 miles west of Pretty Prairie on Silver Lake Road. The contract with Reece Construction of Salina totals $269,067. Federal funds will pay 80% of the cost of the project with the county picking up the rest. Those funds will come from the county’s special bridge fund.
Also Tuesday, the board will get an update on the latest pandemic numbers and authorize payment of the landfill improvements, which includes a new scale house and maintenance facility.
The board will address two zoning issues from the Planning Department. Tuesday’s Reno County Commission meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the Reno County Courthouse.
