Linda Marie Pauls, 93, of Buhler, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community. She was born February 12, 1929 at home in Burrton, the daughter of Jacob L. and Ida M. (Ratzlaff) Regier.
She graduated from Buhler High School with the class of 1947.
She was united in marriage to Ike W. Pauls on June 26, 1949 at Hebron Mennonite Church.
Linda was a devoted homemaker and partnered with her husband,Ike, operating a custom harvesting business for 35 years. As a young adult, she spent many years organizing and teaching after school bible clubs to elementary children. After her retirement she was well known for her many State Fair endeavors and grand prizes for her pies and creative entries.
She was a member of Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church and member of the National Association of Wheat Weavers, as well as the Kansas Association of Straw Artists. Linda was a charter member of the 54th EHU in Buhler.
She is survived by her two children, Diane (Doug) Elder of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Kenneth (Pam) Pauls of Buhler; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Orval (Leana) Regier of Buhler, Clifford (Marilyn) Regier of Buhler, and Clayton Regier of Denver, Colorado; sister-in-law Lorita (Herb) Regier-Zook of Hesston; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Lonnie Pauls; brothers, Richard and Leland Regier; and sister, Shirley Ediger.
Funeral services will be held at Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church, on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Buhler Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m., Thursday, February 24, at Buhler Mortuary with family greeting friends from 6 to 7 p.m..
