SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Two roads in South Hutchinson are closed following a train derailment.

The city announced that Avenue F and Scott Boulevard are closed at the railroad tracks. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes until further notice.

This is near the Reno County Public Works facility and Our Lady of Guadeloupe softball fields.&nbsp;

The city did not immediately provide information about the derailment or say when the crossings are expected to reopen.

Officials said an update will be released when the railway and affected roads are open again.
