RENO COUNTY, Kan. — One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash just after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2005 Dodge Dakota driven by Noah Jeffrey Edwards, 26, of Republic, Missouri, was westbound on Kansas 96 about one mile east of Yoder Road when it rear-ended a 2014 Honda Accord driven by Zandre DeBeer Wiggins, 29, of Hutchinson. Both vehicles traveled into the north ditch after the impact.
A passenger in the Dodge, Sara Elizabeth Muzzy, 35, of Hutchinson, was taken by EMS to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
Neither driver was injured. Both were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
