Clarence William Hageman, 82, of Burrton, died June 25, 2021, at Diversicare of Hutchinson. He was born April 7, 1939, in Willowdale, to Clement and Rosa (Bayer) Hageman.

Clarence began welding when he was 16 years old. He taught himself and went on to weld at many different jobs over the course of his life. Clarence also worked farming wheat fields. He was a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 612. Clarence also collected John Deere. He was a member at St. Teresa Catholic Church.

On June 7, 1958, he married MaryLou Libel at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ost, Ks. They shared 63 years together.

Clarence is survived by: wife, MaryLou Hageman, Burrton; daughter, Molly Perser (Norman), Hutchinson; sons, Clinton Hageman (Monica), Hutchinson, Mark Hageman (Phyllis), Hutchinson, Curtis Hageman (Suzanne), Towanda; daughter, Marietta Hageman, Burrton; five grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; seven step-grandchildren; 18 step great-grandchildren; 10 step great great-granchildren; brothers, James Hageman, Wichita, Jerry Hageman, Garden City, Frank Hageman, Hutchinson; and sister, Sally Nethaway, California.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; infant son, Clifford Hageman; great-granddaughters, Peyton and Lillian Keough; brothers, Norbert, Bernard, and Harold; sisters, Alberta Schwartz, Geraldine Bankofsky, and Anita Rieb.

Parish rosary will be 7 p.m. Tuesday June 29, 2021, at St. Teresa Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the church with Father Mike Maybrier officiating. Burial will follow at 1p.m. in St Joseph Cemetery, Ost, Ks. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary.
