
Hiram M. Love, 81, died on July 2, 2020 at his home. He was born June 10, 1939, in Lafette, AL, to Sam and Annie (Hubbard) Love.
Hiram graduated from Lafette High School and attended Brunswick Community College. On December 13, 1997 he married Doris Presley in Kingsland, GA. Hiram was an Antique and Collectibles dealer. He spent most of his adult life on stage. Hiram played guitar and sang southern gospel, was a member of a gospel quartet for many years singing base. He was also president and general manager of Christian television in Brunsiwck for over 25 years and wrote and preached many gospel sermons in Alabama and Georgia. He was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ.
Hiram was preceded in death by his parents; a step-son, Mike Larson and a sister, Sara Harper.
Survivors include his wife Doris Love; a son, Jarod Love of Reidsville, GA; two step-daughters, Nancy Nichols, of Brunswick, GA, and Pat Paige of St. Simons, GA; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Friends and family may sign the book Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, July 10, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, Memorial may be made to Encompass Hospice or Eastwood Church of Christ and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
