
Hometown pride was on full display this year as the community wrapped up its annual Independence Day parade with special recognition for the most patriotic entries.

Organizers announced winners in three categories: Commercial/Business, Organization/Club, and Non-Profit. Each winner was selected for going above and beyond in showcasing red, white, and blue spirit along the parade route.

Redemption Animal Rescue took top honors in the Non-Profit category, earning a $50 prize for their creative float that highlighted both pet rescue and patriotism.

The Order of Eastern Star was recognized as the most patriotic in the Organization/Club division, also receiving a $50 award for their eye-catching display and community involvement.

In the Commercial/Business category, Silver Dollar claimed first place. They will receive a week of free advertising for their efforts in decking out their entry with patriotic flair and community pride.
