
ST. JOHN, Kan. — Hutchinson Central Christian placed two golfers in the top five and Inman turned in a solid showing Tuesday at the St. John Invitational boys golf tournament at Stafford County Country Club.
Tyler Reed led Central Christian with an 81 to tie for second individually, while teammate Cael Kooiman shot an 83 to tie for fourth. The Cougars finished eighth in the team standings with a 373.
Adam Eigsti added a 100 for Central Christian, while Bruce Wilson carded a 109 and Karson Sullivan shot a 116.
Inman, competing with three golfers and not fielding a full team score, was led by Braeden Stutzman’s 91, which placed 15th overall. Creighton Friesen added a 97 and Wyatt Jonas finished with a 111.
Hodgeman County’s Jordy Lee earned medalist honors with a 78, finishing three shots clear of the group tied for second that included Reed and teammate Kollin Washburn.
