Now of course the moon is never blue, but a blue moon refers to a full moon twice in the same month. It happens this weekend on Halloween. The Cosmosphere is having a blue moon Halloween celebration.
The blue moon this weekend is extra rare since it hasn’t happened on Halloween since 2001. The Cosmosphere invites you to celebrate this celestial event by bringing your ghouls and goblins in costume to the Cosmosphere. Snap a selfie in front of their very own “Blue Moon”—located next to the Cosmosphere Cafe.
