Vicki A. Giddings |1948 - 2021|

Vicki A. Giddings, 73, of McPherson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2021, surrounded by her family at Brookdale-McPherson. She was a Registered Nurse and worked for the McPherson Hospital and in the offices of Dr. C.C. Cunnick and Dr. William Collier.

Vicki was born on January 27, 1948, in Beloit, KS, the daughter of William “Bill” H. and Colleen J. (Coover) Hollaway. On June 8, 1969, Vicki was united in marriage to Bradley K. Giddings. This union was blessed with three children, Derric, Brandon, and Kamie. Brad preceded Vicki in death on February 29, 2016.

Survivors include: two sons, Derric Giddings of Lebanon, OR and Brandon Giddings (Cari) of McPherson; a daughter, Kamie Ward (Brad) of McPherson; two siblings, Van Hollaway (Christie) of Nashville, TN and Frank Hollaway (Brenda) of Beloit; and eight grandchildren, Sierra & Alex Giddings, Caleb, Halle, & Holli Giddings, and Macyn, Ryker, & Colby Ward.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Vince Hollaway.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 14, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at McPherson Cemetery.
